ERIS stands apart because it’s built on a deliberate contradiction: approachable, fruit-forward cider without playing it “cute,” paired with serious production ambition and a bold, modern point of view. ERIS is explicitly inspired by Eris, the Greek goddess of chaos—and the brand leans into that as a creative posture: unconventional, boundary-pushing, and confident in a category that often gets boxed in by stereotypes. 


Women-owned isn’t an asterisk in our story; it’s part of how we show up in a male-dominated space and why our brand voice is direct, sharp, and self-possessed. That identity is also visible in what we built: a large-scale brewpub and production facility in Chicago’s Old Irving Park, designed to be more “awe-inspiring than pretty,” with cider at the center - not as a side project to beer.  

Product-wise, ERIS positions cider as culinary and modern. We talk about “creative” and “modern” ciders, not novelty drinks, and we offer a lineup that ranges from crisp, classic profiles (e.g., our dry, tart flagship style) to more expressive fruit-driven options that still aim for balance and drinkability.
