ST. HELENA, Calif. (June 3, 2026) — Clif Family’s Organic Savory Onion Jam, crafted with onions grown on the winery’s organic Napa Valley farm, has been named a winner in the 2026 Good Food Awards, one of the country’s most respected honors for craft food producers.

The award recognizes a preserve that reflects the same commitment to organic farming, quality ingredients, and craftsmanship that guides every aspect of Clif Family Winery & Farm.

Presented by the Specialty Food Association, the Good Food Awards recognize products that exemplify outstanding taste, quality, and responsible production. This year, 242 products were selected from more than 1,200 entries through a blind tasting process conducted by expert judges.

Made with organic onions grown on the Clif Family Farm, the Organic Savory Onion Jam is slowly caramelized for more than three hours with herbs grown on the farm, creating a delicate balance of savory and sweet flavors. The preserve is a favorite accompaniment to artisan cheeses, charcuterie boards, sandwiches, and seasonal recipes.

“We start with ingredients that are grown with care, then give them the time and attention they deserve in the kitchen,” said Dulce Noonan, Preserve Manager at Clif Family Winery & Farm. “The Organic Savory Onion Jam is simple, but every batch reflects a tremendous amount of work from our farm and culinary teams. It’s incredibly rewarding to see that recognized.”

The preserve pairs particularly well with artisan cheeses and Clif Family Cabernet Sauvignon.
