Sol-ti is currently the Highest Velocity Refrigerated Beverage Company in the United States. We sell more product per store per week on average in all stores that Sol-ti sells in.

Position Summary:

The DSD Area Sales Manager will be responsible for driving distribution with wholesaler partners; engaging consumers to build brand awareness in designated markets; and managing all marketplace activities in the tri-state area. This individual will need to travel frequently between the tri-state area, northeast and the north and mid-Atlantic area. This role will be reporting to the National Distribution Manager.

Role Scope & Responsibilities:

• Achieve monthly sales and distribution goals.

• Conduct regular market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.

• Analyze market territory and directly communicate weekly route objectives.

• Prepare regular sales reports for management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement

• Utilize Salesforce to accurately track sales visit history, goals, and achievements.

• Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper usage of point-of-sale materials, following through on all commitments.

• Secure additional product placements in retail locations, including secondary displays and cooler setups, with a focus on enhancing Sol-ti’s presence in store.

• Develop quality relationships with store contacts, distributors, and brokers.

• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

• Travel quarterly to support nearby markets during promotional events/peak seasons.

• Conduct weekly ride along visits to identify opportunities for improvement in accounts and routes to push product.

• Organize and execute in-store sampling and demonstrations to encourage product trials and strengthen customer relationships.

• Maintain regular communication with the Sol-ti team regarding execution efforts, successes, and challenges.

Job Requirements:

• 1 year minimum of experience in beverage sales, non-alcoholic sector is preferred, but not required.

• Comfortable with daily travel to retail accounts and engaging in face-to-face selling situations in store.

• Outstanding interpersonal skills, with the ability to adjust communication styles based on the audience.

• Enthusiastic about working in a growing company, with the capability to think on your feet in a dynamic environment.

• Inquisitive, consistently seeking ways to engage consumers within retail locations.

• Comfortable working in uncertain situations and adept at asking the right questions to find solutions.

• Strong internal planning, organizational, and project management abilities, coupled with excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Exchange and familiar with team collaboration tools.

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.

• Ability to lift product cases and other brand materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
